mobile Scanner enables retailers to enter orders and to send these electronically to various manufacturers – without having to upgrade their IT infrastructure. A retailer can simply use mobile Scanner to scan barcodes on the products themselves, on the packaging or in printed or digital catalogues, choose the desired quantity and send orders directly to the manufacturer. If a retailer uses an ERP system, the orders created with mobile Scanner or the stock recorded during stock-taking with mobile Scanner can also be quickly and easily transferred to that system. All of which significantly reduces the workload for retailers – allowing them more time to devote to customer service and sales.
No, that is not possible. The barcode scanner checks that the order has been successfully transmitted. All orders are also saved on the device and can therefore be restored.
The order is sent to the relevant supplier. You will also receive an order confirmation at the e-mail address stored in the system. The order itself is deleted from the scanner.
It usually takes between 5 and 15 minutes for an order to be processed.
